The average income of an Ironman Triathlon athlete is over 6 figures and while companies are marketing toward athletes to buy more speed, I think there is a more economically effective way of training and racing. My goal is to go as fast as I can for as little money and time invested as I can. This page was started by me, Brent Hartwig, for the expressed purpose of documenting what I find in my pursuit of this goal.
